Work is always delivered on time.
We work together. Your project goals are my goals.
I can parachute in to your team and work seamlessly.
My clients are loyal and I enjoy making a difference.
Transparent, affordable rates
The fairest way to charge for my work is to charge for my time. That’s why I work to an hourly and daily rate. My current hourly rate is £50.00, and daily rate (based on 8 hours) £400.00. All quotes I issue are itemised showing what I’m going to deliver and how long it will take. Obviously quotes are based on estimates of the time required to complete each task of the project, so it’s crucial that I have as much information as possible about the project in advance in order to provide an accurate timescale and quote. I prefer not to issue fixed price quotes for projects I estimate to be under 20 hours, as it makes more sense to just invoice for the hours these smaller projects have taken once completed.
Your budget matters
I’ll always try to find a way to help you within your budget. That doesn’t mean cutting corners, it simply means providing solutions in the shortest possible time that maximises your returns.
Once a project is completed, clients will often ask if they can retain my services on an ongoing basis. This can be for anything from ongoing landing page designs to producing print design assets. I offer long-term, retainer based projects for my established clients, feel free to get in touch and we can discuss specifics.
I try to be as flexible as possible in order to best accommodate your project budget and timeline. For example I often get asked to quote a fixed project price, which I’m happy to do, whereas some clients prefer me to bill them my hours on a weekly basis. For projects estimated to exceed 20 hours, I generally request that project payments are structured in the following manner:
This is to secure your project in my calendar and to cover any initial overheads specific to the project. Once the project has commenced, deposits are non-refundable.
50% On Delivery
Once I have delivered the work, whether that’s the final drafts of a logo or a website to staging for you to try out. We can discuss this milestone before the project commences.
20% On Completion
Once your website is live or your print work or branding is finalised and the final work delivered.
Again, I’m happy to be quite flexible on these milestones. I understand that it’s not always straightforward, particularly for larger companies, to settle invoices so flexibly. However, work doesn’t start on a project until the initial deposit has been received.
I generate ideas
You get twice the creative brain-power.
I get results
My track record shows I will improve your business.
My workflow is proven and versatile.
I make you look good!
This really depends on the project type. For branding projects, I generally include up to 4 logo revisions once a concept has been chosen, with print and websites there’s a bit more leeway. Once the site is up on a staging environment for you to view you can request changes – any revisions that become excessive (take more than a day) are charged at an hourly rate with a pre-defined cap (although that very rarely happens).
My calendar is usually booked up around 3-4 weeks in advance these days, but please don’t let that put you off getting in touch. Sometimes I become available at short notice, particularly for smaller projects, so it’s worth checking in.
I accept bank transfers (including international) and payment via PayPal. For payments made via PayPal, 3% will be added to your invoice to cover transaction fees. I bill in GBP pound sterling.
I have had my fingers burned too many times over the years by working without a contract, therefore I never start work without a signed contract. I have a basic contract that is tailored for each project and covers both of us.
